Benoit

Benoit, born and raised in St-Hyacinthe, Québec. He has always had a passion for animals. His creativity and ideas for the pet industry are endless.
In professional and personal fields, Benoit is a leader. He is able to communicate with people younger and older than him in a positive and friendly manner. There is no project or task that he cannot accomplish. Benoit is a definition of true determination.
The idea of launching his own pet service business began in 2008. In the last 9 years, Benoit took many different career paths before finally opening L’Ami Câlin with his wife, Julie. He spent the last 6 years traveling for work. And the last 2 years of traveling for work it gave him the opportunity to travel Canada and the United States with his wife, and dog. Then soon welcomed their son in 2015.
As a hard dedicated person Benoit always gives his maximum effort in each and every task. Your pets are in good hands when they are with Benoit.
Julie
Co-Founder
Certified Animal Heath Technician and Obiedience Trainer
Julie, born and raised in the eastern townships. She grew up in Richmond, Québec. She grew up around many pets and farm animals. Since the age of 9 her ambition in life was to become a veterinarian.
She later pursued her studies in Animal Health Technology at Vanier College situated in Montréal. After graduating as a Veterinary Technician, she spent 9 years working as an Animal Health Technician and has worked with numerous varieties of animals.
In 2013, she pursued a dog obedience trainer program.
Then, in 2014, as the adventurer she is, she hit the the road and traveled Canada and the United States for 2 years with her husband and dog and welcomed her son along the way.
It has always been Julie’s passion to be with animals and enjoy the outdoors. The reality is she can achieve both these passions at once.
